About us

Nautica’s story began in 1983 when founder and designer, David Chu, had a vision to create apparel which embodies the inspiration of the sea in everyday style around the world.

Nautica began with only six outerwear styles but quickly grew into a renowned lifestyle brand globally, with products being sold in over 65 countries across the world. Nautica continues to be defined by its unique nautical style, incorporating the water and waves in each design.
